Start your day exploring the natural beauty of the mountain with a rainforest walk! Tamborine Mountain National Park is one of the best places to go hiking in Queensland. It’s got everything you need for a great hike: rainforests, Tamborine Mountain waterfalls, and wildlife galore. Whether you’re looking for an easy stroll or a challenging climb, there’s something for everyone.

If you’re looking for things to do on Tamborine Mountain, you should visit the local Botanical Gardens. They are unique for the fact that they have been developed by volunteers, and also for the blend of both tropical and temperate plants. The gardens are a beautiful place to spend an afternoon around the lake, with plenty of shady areas to rest in and enjoy a picnic lunch.

Visit Local Producers

Tamborine Mountain is the perfect place to spend a day visiting local producers and get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our town’s culinary scene.

You can start your day at the Tamborine Mountain Coffee Plantation and see how they grow their coffee beans and then head into the factory to see them being roasted. You can even sample some freshly brewed coffee with breakfast at their café.

Next stop we recommend checking out the guys at Witches Falls Winery. With its lovely setting amongst the grapes, you’ll want to take your time exploring the grounds and enjoying a glass of wine or two.

If you’re feeling hungry after this adventure, then swing by Mason Winery which serves up delicious food along with an amazing view from its deck out over their vineyard! They also have a Cellar Door where you can try some of their selected wines.

Then head over to the heart of the town for a stopover at Fortitude Brewing where you can sample some local brews. They have one of the largest selections in the area and are located right in the middle of Tamborine Village so it’s easy to find them! You’ll be able to see all sorts of people enjoying their beers and food while listening to live music at this popular spot!

Last but not least, stop by Tamborine Mountain Distillery for a tasting and tour of their distillery. You’ll get to see how the distillery works, learn about the history of distilling in Queensland, and taste some of the best spirits you’ve ever had. It’s a great way to wrap up your day on Tamborine Mountain!

Be more adventurous

If you’re looking for a little more adventure tr, try zip lining at Thunderbird Park! This activity will take you high into the tree canopy so you can see all of the rainforests from above.

There’s a lot to do on Tamborine Mountain, but you can’t miss Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk. The Skywalk is a 40-metre cantilever bridge that juts out over the edge of the mountain and offers breathtaking views of the rainforest and creek below. And if you’re lucky, you might even see some wildlife!
