Great result in the San Fransisco World Spirits Competition.

Awards:

Silver for Violetta Liqueur

Bronze Cinnamon Liqueur

Whenever we develop a new product quite often we enter it in some world spirit competition. It is interesting to note the judges comments from different countries how they differ greatly to , taste, smell, visual, etc . Some award a gold , some silver, some bronze. On the rare occasion nothing at all. Australians are a great lot we try anything and embrace different flavours readily. Some countries Judges are still in the dark ages of tradition and will not embrace new techniques ,flavours, textures etc. We will continue to develop Aussie Flavours and attempt to convert the conservative European attitude. Good On Yer Mate!!

 

This is possibly America's most prestigious international Spirits competition, and Tamborine Mountain Distillery was the only Australian Distillery to receive a Gold and Silver award.

Michael Ward is, as usual, overjoyed with the result: "It goes to show that our focus on exceptional quality in our products is paying off - even as a small boutique Distillery, we are more than capable of giving some of our much larger competitors a decent run for their money!
