ITV 1 National Commercial Television Station in the UK are in Australia doing a 13 part series on Poms in Australia. This programme will be viewed by some 10-12 million people at 7.30 pm in England commencing approx May 2011.
I have been chosen as one of the Poms and much filming has been done including 3 days in Sydney where we have over 60 commercial accounts.
More filming is taking place at the distillery and on Tamborine Mountain on Friday March 11th from 2.30 pm onwards.
Due to the massive downturn of tourism in the domestic and overseas markets this series will be a wonderful opportunity for the English viewing public to see Australia as a wonderful destination for holidays and migration.
I believe this to be a news worthy story and worthy of media attention here in Australia showing we are doing our bit to promote tourism back to our shores.
